| From Concept to Working System |
|
|
| |
|
|
| Whether you
need a slight modification to one of our range of
"off the shelf" products or a complete custom
built system, Audionics are capable of transforming your
concept into a fully operational system. We also
manufacture broadcast mixing desks and audio routing
matrices to customer specifications. |
|
|
| If you
require a product to perform a particular function and
there does not appear to be anything available, we may be
able to design a suitable solution. |

Routers |
|
|
| |
|
|
| Audionics
supply a range of audio routing systems - all of which
can be tailored to your precise specifications. |
|
|
| Both
switching and mixing matrices are available, based around
3U rackmount cardframes. Multiple 'layers' can be
configured within the same cardframe and cards can even
be included for DC (logic) switching functions. |
|
|
| The systems
offer a range of innovative, practical control systems: |
|
|
- Rotary encoder
control with alphanumeric displays to show source
names
- LED and switch
crosspoint arrays
- PC control by RS232
- Interfacing with
existing software packages
- Remote control via
LAN/WAN/Internet
|
|
|
| UK customers
that have chosen to use Audionics audio routing systems
include (amongst others) The BBC, Capital Radio Group,
Emap Radio Group, GWR Group, Classic FM, London News
Radio and BFBS. |
|
|
| Details of
many of these installations can be found in the News
section. |
|
|
| In most radio
stations, control of both incoming lines and outgoing
reverse cue (mix-minus) signals is required. Audionics
audio routing matrices can be configured in multiple
layers, so a single unit can control both control
functions. For this purpose we offer a control system
that is both ingenious and highly user-friendly. |
|
|
- A rotary encoder
remote control module is used for source
selection, with a single "cue send"
button to assign the reverse cue signal.
- The selection is
confirmed by a message on the display and the
selection button remains illuminated as a status
indication.
- If the choice is
already in use by another studio, an engaged
message is shown on the display, along with the
name of the studio that is using it.
- The existing
selection can be overridden by holding the
selection button depressed for three seconds
