Audionics Launch New Products at AES Paris

January 2000

The 108th AES Convention to be held in Paris from the 19th to the 22nd of February, will see the European launch of two new products from Audionics, the Sheffield based professional audio equipment manufacturer.

The Com2000 talkback system is a 16 way studio talkback system that uses the Cat 5 data cabling system. The system can be operated as either a simple point to point talkback system or the unit can be programmed by a PC, to provide more complicated talk to zone or open listen facilities.

They will also be launching a new duel domain audio router. The 3U unit is a 32x32 router with analogue or digital 4 way input or output cards, enabling any combination of analogue or digital inputs and outputs. The router can be either asynchronous or each input can be frame synched to an internal or external reference, outputs can be independently re synched to 32,411.1 or 48 kHz.
