New Digital Router from Audionics

Audionics have recently launched a new digital audio router, the MCX3. This is the third product in the highly successful MCX range of routers.

The flexible design of the MCX3 allows for a variety of configurations with a standard unit having 32 inputs and 16 outputs, which are AES/EBU compliant with sample rate conversion on all inputs. The range of inputs and outputs can be customised to the specific requirements of a user.

The front panel provides a simple method for controlling the router, or alternatively it can be controlled remotely via RS485/RS232. The MCX3 can be supplied with an embedded web server allowing the router to be controlled from a standard web browser over LAN/WAN, or the Internet. This eliminates the need for a dedicated PC, as the software is embedded inside the unit.

The versatility of the MCX3 makes it a cost effective solution, viable for a wide range of audio routing applications, and all within a compact 1U design.
