| Description | |||
| The CL10IP is a 1U, 19, rackmount unit with integral mains power supply. Ten mains outputs can be controlled via local logic inputs or remotely over LAN or WAN. | |||
| Features | |||
| Logic Inputs: | 10 local logic inputs, which can be configured as closing contact, active high or active low. Each input is mapped to switch the mains outputs on or off. The mapping enables the input to switch one or several of the outputs. The mapping is configured via the RS232 system port. | ||
| Changes to the logic inputs are also transmitted to any clients connected via the LAN/WAN, this also gives the user a simple GPI>IP convertor. | |||
| Mains Outputs: | Ten 240v, 1 amp, switched mains outputs on Neutrik Powercon connectors | ||
| Logic Outputs: | Ten dry closing contacts parallel to the switched mains outputs. | ||
| RS232 System Port: | The CL10IP has an RS232 port which enables the user to configure the IP address, input logic maps and to retrieve current status of unit and clients connected. | ||
| Remote Control: | Up to 8 clients can connect to the CL10IP buy opening an IP socket. The clients are then able to interrogate the status of the logic inputs and the status of the mains outputs. | ||
| The outputs can be switched on, switched off or flashed with adjustable duration. | |||
| Connected clients are also notified of any changes to the input logic status. | |||
| The protocol is simple to enable users to develop their own software applications, or they can use the supplied Windows control software. | |||
| Applications: | The CL10IP has been designed to enable software based systems, digital mixers, playout systems to switch mains equipment over LAN/WAN. One example would be studio signal lamps (On Air, Mic Live & Telephone Call Indicator), which could be switched directly by the digital desk software systems. | ||
