| Remote Control Modules | |||
| The Audionics MCX2 can be supplied with separate remote control modules. Each module has an eight-character display and rotary encoder selector. They are connected to the MCX2's RS485 bus and used to control one particular output of the MCX2. These controllers can be user-installed into existing equipment to provide convenient remote control. | |||

The module show source names on an 8 character ASCII display. | ||
Rackmount Panel Option: |
Audionics can supply a 2U 19" rackmount panel with one or more controllers pre-installed. | ||
Desktop Box Option: |
The controllers can also be supplied pre-installed in self-contained ABS boxes for applications where rackmounting is not available. | ||
| Logic Switching: | The MCX2 can also be supplied with DC switching cards, allowing simultaneous control of both audio and logic signals. | ||

| Power Supply: | The remote control module requires a +12V power supply and draws 150mA. | ||
| Connections: | The remote controller should be connected to the MCX2 using screened data cable. The connection is made between the female 15 way D-type connector on the rear of the MCX2 and the male 9 way D-type at the rear of the remote controller. | ||
